City of Peoria Litter Campaign page
Since 2006 the Mayor's Litter Committee has led a successful citywide effort to remove fast food cups, paper and plastic bags, cardboard, bottles and cigarette butts from our streets, alleys and vacant lots. In 2015, the committee evolved to become a resource to residents for logistic advice and source for little grabbers, safety vests, gloves and bags to clean up our neighborhoods. Also available for loan are two Pride Pals mascot costumes!
Temporarily suspended due to COVID.
