(PEORIA, IL) Friday, September 20, 2024, at approximately 2:44 a.m. Peoria Police responded to the 2000 block of W. Forrest Hill Avenue regarding an active business alarm.
When officers arrived, they observed shattered glass outside the business.
During the course of the investigation officers located two males identified as 18-year-old Desean E. Jackson Jr, and 32-year-old Kwand J. Presswood matching the description of the two suspects.
Both males fled from police on foot but were apprehended and taken into custody.
Jackson and Presswood were arrested for Business Burglary, Criminal Damage to Property, and Resisting Police.
Both males were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
