Beginning at 6:30 a.m. and lasting until 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, numerous intersections and roads around the Bradley University Campus will be closed due to the Hilltop Trot 5K. The 5K is sponsored by Bradley University – Doctor of Physical Therapy Class of 2026.
Drivers should exercise caution and patience along the race route. The use of alternative routes is advised.
Road Closures
• W. St. James Street will be closed to through traffic at N. Duryea Place and N. Elmwood Avenue.
• N. Elmwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic at W. St. James Street and W. Bradley Avenue.
• W. Bradley Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Elmwood Avenue and N. Rebecca Place.
• N. Rebecca Place will be closed to through traffic at W. Bradley Avenue and W. Laura Avenue.
• W. Laura Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Rebecca Place and N. Cooper Street.
• N. Cooper Street will be closed to through traffic at W. Laura Avenue and W. Ayres Avenue.
• W. Ayres Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Cooper Street and N. Glenwood Avenue.
• N. Glenwood Avenue will be closed to through traffic at W. Ayres Avenue and W. Bradley Avenue.
• W. Callender Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Cooper Street and N. Glenwood Avenue.
• W. Barker Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Cooper Street and N. Duryea Place.
• W. Fredonia Avenue will be closed to through traffic at N. Cooper Street and N. Duryea Place.
• N. Institute Place will be closed to through traffic at W. Barker Avenue and W. Bradley Avenue.
• N. Duryea Place will be closed to through traffic at W. Barker Avenue and W. St. James Street.
Race Route
Runners will start at the Alumni Quad on the Bradley University Campus. Runners will race west on W. Bradey Avenue, south on N. Cooper Street, east on W. Barker Avenue, North on N. Duryea Place, west on W. Fredonia Avenue, north on N. Cooper Street, east on W. Bradley Avenue, north on N. Elmwood Avenue, loop around the Founder’s Circle, east toward W. St. James Street, south on N. Duryea Place, west on W. Barker Avenue, south on N. Glenwood Avenue, west on W. Ayres Avenue, right on N. Cooper Street, west on W. Bradley Avenue, north on N. Rebecca Place, east on W. Laura Avenue, finish back at the point on the Alumni Quad.
