Beginning on Tuesday, Feb. 25, weather-dependent, work will resume on W Pioneer Parkway between N Harker Drive and N Sommer Street as part of the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project.
Current, eastbound and westbound traffic configurations will remain the same. Pioneer Parkway will remain as one lane of travel in each direction as the project begins again. Northbound and southbound traffic on N University Street will remain in the same lanes.
Lane shifts and traffic configurations will change as the project progresses.
Drivers should continue to be mindful of these traffic patterns and watch for workers in the area. Extra caution should be utilized.
The Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project is a $9.1 million project and is entering its second and final year.
