(PEORIA, IL) Saturday, May 17, 2025, at approximately 5:15 p.m., while patrolling the Civic Center during a graduation ceremony, Peoria Police observed a fight break out in the concession hallway between multiple juveniles.
Peoria Police, School Resource Officers, and Civic Center Guards quickly intervened and broke up the fighting.
A total of seven juveniles were taken into custody for the following charges.
• Juvenile —16y/o male arrested for Resisting/obstructing police —Released to Custodian
• Juvenile —16 y/o male arrested for Aggravated Battery; Mob Action; Resisting / Obstructing Police -- Released to Custodian
• Juvenile —16y/o male arrested for Aggravated Battery; Mob Action —Sent to JDC
• Juvenile —15 y/o male arrested for Aggravated Battery; Mob Action —Sent to JDC
• Juvenile —15 y/o male arrested for Aggravated Battery; Mob Action; Battery -- Released to Custodian
• Juvenile —13 y/o female arrested for Resisting/obstructing police —Released to Custodian • * * * *Juvenile —17-year-old female arrested for Resisting/obstructing police- Released to Custodian
