(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, May 25, 2025, at approximately 11:42 p.m., Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of S. Arago on a Shot Spotter alert of three rounds fired.
When officers arrived, they did not locate any victims at the above location.
While conducting a search in the 2000 block of S. Friedan Street, police located an adult female (30 years old) with a gunshot wound to the foot. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
This incident is under investigation. Currently, there is no suspect information.
