(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, June 1, 2025, at approximately 4:14 a.m., Peoria Police were dispatched to the 300 block of E. Corrington on a Shot Spotter alert of 9 rounds fired.
While on scene, officers were approached by an adult male who told police he was the victim of a Home Invasion that had just occurred in the 2800 block of N. Missouri.
The victim told police two unknown males wearing ski masks kicked in his front door and entered the residence. One of the males pointed a firearm at the victim and struck him in the face with it. The victim sustained minor injuries.
The subjects then exited the home, fired shots into the air, and fled on foot. No one was injured.
This incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
