(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at approximately 6:09 p.m., Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of N. Lehman Road on a report of a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a male juvenile (12 years old) with an apparent gunshot wound to the stomach inside the residence.
Police began life-saving measures on the juvenile until medical personnel arrived. The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Special Investigations Division (SID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
This incident is under investigation. Currently, there is no suspect information.
