Due to the increased chances of severe weather tomorrow, Wednesday, June 18, the traffic pattern shift on W Pioneer Parkway at the intersection of N University Street will be delayed until 7 am on Thursday, June 19.
On Thursday, eastbound and westbound traffic on W Pioneer Parkway will shift into the northern lanes of W Pioneer Parkway. The shift is necessary as part of the Pioneer Parkway and University Street Intersection Reconstruction Project.
All current lane closures at the W Pioneer Parkway and N University Street Intersection will remain the same.
Detour Routes
• Northbound N University Street through traffic should utilize W Willow Knolls Drive to N Allen Road. Northbound on N Allen Road, motorists should travel east on W Altorfer Drive.
• Eastbound traffic on W Pioneer Parkway needing to travel north on N University Street should travel north on N Sommer Street and then west on W Altorfer Drive.
• Southbound N University Street through traffic should utilize W Altorfer Drive to N Allen Road. Southbound on N Allen Road, motorists should travel west on W Willow Knolls Drive.
• Westbound traffic on W Pioneer Parkway needing to travel south on N University Street should travel south on N Allen Road and then west on W Willow Knolls Drive.
