(PEORIA, IL) On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at approximately 3:09 a.m., a Peoria Police officer was flagged down by a male who reported seeing a group of individuals going through vehicles in the 100 block of E. Hines.
Officers immediately responded to the area and conducted a thorough search of the surrounding areas. A drone was also deployed to assist in the search. Despite these efforts, no suspects were located.
During the investigation, officers discovered that a total of 14 vehicles had been burglarized.
This remains an active investigation.
