(PEORIA, IL) On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at approximately 4:46 p.m., Peoria Police were dispatched to the 400 block of NE Adams Street on a report of a child struck by a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers located a 4-year-old male child on the ground receiving emergency medical treatment from first responders. The child was transported to a local hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and cooperated fully with officers.
No arrests have been made at this time.
This incident remains under investigation.
