(PEORIA, IL) On Thursday, July 24, 2025, at approximately 11:49 a.m., Peoria Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 1100 block of W. Main Street.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 39-year-old male victim who stated that an unknown suspect implied he had a firearm and demanded money. The victim then pulled a knife from his pocket, prompting the suspect to flee on foot. No injuries were reported.
A short time later, officers located a man matching the suspect's description in the 800 block of W. Russell Street. The individual, identified as 34-year-old Nathan D. Webb, was taken into custody without incident.
Webb was arrested for Attempted Aggravated Robbery and transported to the Peoria County Jail.
