(PEORIA, IL) On Saturday, August 2, 2025, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Peoria Police officers were dispatched to the 3300 block of W. Willow Knolls Road following a report of a person shot.
Upon arrival, officers located an adult male (36 years old) who had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his right hand and a graze wound to the back of his head.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
Currently, there is no suspect information. This incident remains under investigation.
