Beginning at 7 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 6, N. University Street will reopen to through traffic at the intersection of W. Pioneer Parkway. Lane restrictions will remain in effect, and drivers should be mindful of the modified traffic configuration.
Traffic Configuration Change
• A head-to-head traffic configuration will be utilized for northbound and southbound traffic on N. University Street from W. Pioneer Parkway to W. Candletree Drive.
• Northbound traffic on N. University Street will be permitted to travel through the intersection of W. Pioneer Parkway and will be able to make right turns onto eastbound W. Pioneer Parkway.
• Southbound traffic on N. University Street will be permitted to travel through the intersection of W. Pioneer Parkway by shifting into the head-to-head configuration.
• Eastbound traffic on W. Pioneer Parkway will be permitted to turn right onto southbound N. University Street by shifting into the head-to-head configuration.
Business Access on the west side of N. University Street will be accessible from the SOUTHBOUND LANE ONLY.
Right turns from eastbound W. Pioneer Parkway onto southbound N. University Street will not be permitted.
