Beginning at 7 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 26, the intersection of W. Smith Street and S. Steubenville Street will close to all traffic. This closure is necessary as part of the Combined Sewer Overflow Year 3 Control Project and is expected to last through the fall, weather permitting.
The intersection of S. DuSable Street and W. Smith Street will reopen to through traffic at this time as well.
Drivers should use caution in the area and be mindful of this closure. The use of alternative routes is advised.
