[ARCHIVED] Roads To Be Impacted On Sept. 11, For Richwoods High School Homecoming Parade

Beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 11, rolling lane restrictions will go into effect on several City streets for the Richwoods High School Homecoming Parade.

The Peoria Police Department and Peoria Fire Department will escort the parade. Drivers should exercise caution and patience along the route. The use of alternative routes is advised.

Parade Route

  • The parade will begin at Richwoods High School, 6301 N. University Street, and cross W. Northmoor Road onto N. Rosemead Drive.
     
  • Traveling south on N. Rosemead Drive, the parade will travel east on W. Devereux Drive and then west on W. Daytona Drive. The parade will head north on N. Keenland Avenue and then west on W. Oakglen Drive.

  • The parade will head north on N. Rosemead Drive from W. Oakglen Drive. From N. Rosemead Drive, the parade will travel east on W. Northmoor Road before returning to Richwoods High School.
