(PEORIA, IL) On Friday, September 26, 2025, at approximately 12:18 p.m., Peoria Police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of N. Richard Pryor Place on a report of an armed robbery involving a knife.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 46-year-old male victim who reported being confronted by an unknown male suspect. The suspect displayed a knife, stole the victim’s electric bicycle, and fled eastbound on John Gwynn Avenue.
Through the course of the investigation, officers identified the suspect as 40-year-old Domonic M. Mann. Mann was located a short time later in the 400 block of SW Adams Street. He was found in possession of the stolen bicycle, and officers also recovered a knife on his person.
Mann was taken into custody without incident and arrested for Armed Robbery and Aggravated Assault. He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
