(PEORIA, IL) On Sunday, October 19, 2025, at approximately 3:53 p.m., Peoria Police responded to a report of a person shot in the 1800 block of N. Lehman Road.
Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old female suffering from a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives with the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), along with members of the Crime Scene Unit (CSU) and Patrol Unit, responded to the scene to conduct a thorough investigation.
At this time, there is no suspect information, and the incident remains under active investigation.
