(PEORIA, IL) On Saturday, November 1, 2025, at approximately 8:36 p.m., Peoria Police responded to a report of an armed robbery in the 2400 block of N. Indiana.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 25-year-old male who reported that he was in his backyard when he was approached by two masked males armed with handguns. The suspects demanded the victim’s personal belongings and the keys to his vehicle.
During the encounter, the victim was struck in the head with a firearm. The victim’s injuries were non-life-threatening. The suspects then fled the scene southbound in the victim’s vehicle.
Police conducted a search for the stolen vehicle but were unsuccessful.
This incident remains under investigation.
