(PEORIA, IL) On Friday, November 14, 2025, at approximately 8:43 p.m., Peoria Police were dispatched to the 7700 block of N. Pioneer Lane for a report of a business burglary in progress (Bump Health Inc.).
Upon arrival, officers observed a broken window on the east side of the building. Moments later, a male subject, later identified as 25-year-old Kerington K. Johnson, was seen exiting the premises. Johnson was taken into custody without incident.
During a search, officers recovered multiple items Johnson had attempted to remove from the business. Burglary tools were also located near Johnson’s bicycle.
Johnson was arrested and charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Criminal Damage to Property, and Obstructing an Officer.
He was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
