(PEORIA, IL) Thursday, November 2, 2023, at approximately 7:57 p.m. Peoria Police were investigating a Shot Spotter alert near the intersection of W. Ann and Griswold when they heard additional gunfire and projectiles near their location. No officers were injured.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), Patrol Unit, and Crime Scene Unit (CSU) responded to the scene and conducted an extensive search of the area for suspects.
Officers are evaluating evidence recovered at the scene.
