(PEORIA, IL) Monday, November 6, 2023, at approximately 10:53 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the 2600 block of W. Malone on a Shot Spotter alert of 10 rounds fired.
When officers arrived, they did not locate a victim or suspects.
A
short time later officers were advised that a 15-year-old male was transported to a local hospital by private vehicle with a single gunshot wound to the foot. The victim’s injury is non-life threatening.
The victim told police that he was shot while riding in a vehicle that was fired at by an unknown subject.
This incident is under investigation. There is currently no suspect information.
