(PEORIA, IL) Sunday, November 19, 2023, at approximately 1:46 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 800 block of W. Hurlburt on a report of four adult males trespassing on private property. One of the suspects was reportedly armed with a long
gun.
When
police arrived at the above location all four males immediately fled on foot.
After a foot chase officers apprehended all four males without further incident.
During an extensive search of the subject’s flight path officers located a loaded handgun.
Two of the subjects identified as 25-year-old Brandon T. Dunnigan and 24-year-old Trendale Harris were arrested for outstanding warrants.
32-year-old Christopher L. Brown was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Unlawful Possession of a Weapon by a Felon, and Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID Card.
All three subjects were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
