Beginning on Wednesday, January 3, core-boring work will occur on MacArthur Highway between W Fourth Street and SW Jefferson Avenue. The work will happen between 9 am and 3 pm and will last through Thursday, January 4, weather permitting.
Cores are cylinders of pavement that are cut out of the pavement and are evaluated to determine what materials make up the pavement.
Drivers should be mindful of traffic pattern shifts while the work is happening. Drivers also should watch for workers and use extra caution in the area.
