On Sunday, January 21, 2024, at approximately 8:18 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 4100 block of N. Brandywine Drive on a call of shots fired.
When officers arrived, they did not locate any victims or suspects.
At
approximately 8:25 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 4100 block of Creighton Terrace and the 4100 block of Hillmont on a call of shots fired at both locations.
While enroute officers were dispatched to a local hospital on a report of a 14-year-old male arriving by private vehicle with a gunshot wound.
The victim sustained serious injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID) Crime Scene Unit (CSU) and Patrol Unit responded to both locations and located a crime scene.
Currently, there is no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
