(PEORIA, IL) On Thursday, February 15, 2024, at approximately 8:56 p.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 3000 block of W. Antoinette regarding a Shot Spotter alert of 10 rounds fired.
When officers arrived, they did not locate a victim or suspects.
At
approximately 9:02 p.m. officers were dispatched to the 2100 block of W. Millman regarding a person shot.
When officers arrived, they located a 17-year-old male with an apparent gunshot wound. The victim told police he was shot on W. Antoinette by an unknown male.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to both scenes and initiated an investigation.
Currently, there is no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
