(PEORIA, IL) Saturday, March 30, 2024, at approximately 12:52 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the 2600 block of W. Lake St. on a report of a theft that had just occurred.
When officers arrived, they made contact with an adult female who told police her purse was stolen from a local business.
During the course of this investigation, officers located the vehicle connected to the suspect driving near the 1900 block of W. Forrest Hill.
Officers immediately conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with two adult males and a female occupant inside. The female identified as 22-year-old Tiambra Walker attempted to flee on foot but was quickly detained.
Walker was subsequently arrested for Theft, Unlawful Use of a Credit Card, Aggravated Battery on Police, and Resisting Police.
Walker was also found to be wanted for Vehicular Homicide out of Madison, Wisconsin.
Two adult males in the vehicle with Walker were detained for multiple offenses.
29-year-old Tervon Moore was arrested for Theft and Unlawful Use of a Credit Card.
52-year-old Thomas B. Jennings was arrested for a Suspended License and Drug Charges. (#24-6167)
All three subjects were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
