(PEORIA, IL) Saturday, April 20, 2024, at approximately 12:54 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 2100 block of N. North Street on a call of trouble with three males who were looking into vehicles.
While en route officers located two males matching the description of the subjects walking south on Sheridan at Brons Street.
When
officers attempted to make contact with the males, one male identified as 25-year-old Thaddeus D. Riley immediately ran WB on Thrush.
During a brief foot chase officers apprehended Riley in the 800 block of Bartlett.
While searching the flight path of Riley officers located a loaded semi-automatic handgun.
Riley was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon by a Felon, No FOID, and Obstructing Police.
