(PEORIA, IL) Monday, May 6, 2024, at approximately 9:13 p.m. Peoria Police responded to a Shot Spotter alert of 13 rounds fired in the 500 block of W. Hanssler Place. Moments later another Shot Spotter occurred indicating 15 rounds fired in the 500 block of W. Loucks Ave.
When officers arrived on W. Loucks, they located an adult female (25 years old) with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim was transported to a local hospital with
non-life-threatening injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU), and Patrol Unit responded to the scene and initiated an investigation.
Currently, there is no suspect information. This incident is under investigation.
