(PEORIA, IL) Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at approximately 9:08 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 1900 block of W. Humboldt on a report of a male and female burglarizing a residence.
When officers arrived at the above location, they conducted a search for the suspects with negative results.
During the course of this investigation, officers located the suspects identified as 34-year-old Cody E. Nash and 35-year-old Robin M. Olson in the 1900 block of Malone. The subjects had stolen property and burglary tools in their possession.
While officers were attempting to apprehend the subjects, Nash resisted. He was eventually detained and taken into custody without further incident.
Nash was subsequently arrested for Residential Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, and Obstructing Police.
Olson was arrested for Residential Burglary.
Both subjects were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
