(Peoria, IL) Thursday, June 13, 2024, at approximately 7:15 a.m. Peoria Police and Peoria Fire responded to the intersection of Van Buren and NE Adams Street regarding a rollover accident involving two vehicles.
When Peoria Fire and AMT arrived, they immediately rendered medical aid to two adult females on the scene, one of which was ejected from the vehicle. Both females were transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. A
short time later a third adult female arrived at a local hospital by private vehicle with minor injuries from the accident. A third vehicle was also struck during the crash. The driver of that vehicle, an adult male sustained a serious hand injury.
The intersection of Van Buren and Adams was immediately shut down for several hours while Peoria Police investigated the cause of the crash.
This incident remains under investigation.
