[ARCHIVED] Due To A Water Main Break, The Public Works Facility Is Closed Until Further Notice

Due to a water main break this morning on Dries Lane, the Department of Public Works Facility, 3505 N. Dries Lane, will be closed until further notice.

To maintain safety, all internal operations will be suspended until water service and fire suppression systems have been restored. 

The fueling station will also be unavailable at this time. Other fueling stations are located at the Central Fire Station, 505 N.E. Monroe Street, Fire Station #8, 832 W. Hurlburt Street, and the Police Department, 600 S.W. Adams Street, for regular gasoline. Field operations and on-call vehicle maintenance will continue uninterrupted.  

During this time, the public is encouraged to contact the Department at 309-494-8800 and leave a voicemail, which will continue to be monitored by staff. The Department apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
