(PEORIA, IL) Friday, July 5, 2024, at approximately 3:10 a.m. Peoria Police were conducting patrol at a business in the 400 block of SW Jefferson when officers observed a Glock handgun inside an unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot.
At approximately 3:15 a.m. officers observed two adult males and one adult female enter the vehicle. Police immediately approached the vehicle and made contact with the occupants.
The
three occupants were detained while police conducted a search of the vehicle.
During the search, officers located and seized two handguns.
22-year-old Brandon J. Jackson was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
23-year-old Jayshawn K. Johnson was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon.
The female subject was released.
Both males were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
