(PEORIA, IL) Monday, July 15, 2024, at approximately 9:52 p.m. Peoria Police responded to a business (McDonald’s) in the 7700 block of N. University regarding a robbery that just occurred.
When officers arrived, they learned that a masked male suspect entered the business and approached an employee.
The
suspect implied he was armed with a handgun, took an undisclosed amount of currency, and fled the scene on foot. No one was injured.
Officers conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results.
This incident is under investigation.
