(PEORIA, IL)Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at approximately 2:32 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 2300 block of N. Sheridan on a report of a group of people displaying handguns.
When officers arrived, they located two male juveniles and one adult female.
During a search of the subjects’ officers located a loaded handgun on the person of the adult female identified as 32-year-old Wenoke E. March. Officers also located a handgun on the person of the 16-year-old male, and the 15-year-old male.
March was subsequently arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Aggravated Assault. She was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
The 16-year-old male was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Aggravated Assault, and an Active Warrant.
The 15-year-old male was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Aggravated Assault.
Both juveniles were transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
