(PEORIA, IL) Friday, August 2, 2024, at approximately 12:24 a.m. Peoria Police responded to the 2500 block of N. Sheridan Road on a report of a person stabbed.
When officers arrived, they located an adult female (27 years old) with an apparent stab wound to the upper chest area. The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police conducted a search of the area for the suspect with negative results.
This incident is under investigation.
