(PEORIA, IL) Thursday, September 12, 2024, at approximately 2:47 a.m. Peoria Police conducted a traffic stop in the 3700 block of Sterling on a vehicle connected to a male who was observed with a handgun inside a local hospital earlier.
As officers approached the vehicle, they made contact with two adult males inside.
During a search of the vehicle, officers located a firearm inside.
The passenger identified as 19-year-old Marcus D. Foreman was arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon, Possession of a Handgun under 21 years old, Defacing a Firearm, Disorderly Conduct, Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID, Possession of Ammunition without a Valid FOID, and an Active Warrant.
Foreman was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
