(PEORIA, IL) On Saturday, February 11, 2023, at approximately 6:56 p.m. Peoria Police responded to the 3400 block of W. Oakcrest on a report of multiple shots fired.
When officers arrived on scene, they located a vehicle parked in the middle of the road. When officers approached the vehicle, they located an adult male victim inside with an apparent gunshot wound to the head. The victim was transported to a local hospital with life
threatening injuries.
Members of the Peoria Police Department’s Special Investigations Division (SID), Criminal Investigations Division (CID), Crime Scene Unit (CSU) and Patrol Unit responded to the scene an initiated an investigation.
This incident is under investigation. There is no suspect information.
