(PEORIA, IL) On Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at approximately 4:14 a.m., Peoria Police responded to the area of Frye and New York following a report of an armed robbery.
Upon arrival, officers located a 47-year-old female who reported being robbed and physically assaulted by two armed male suspects while walking in the area.
During the incident, the suspects struck the victim multiple times, stole her personal belongings, and fled on foot toward E. Republic Street.
The victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers conducted a drone search of the surrounding area, but the suspects were not located. At this time, no suspect information is available, and the incident remains under investigation.
