Beginning at 10 a.m. and lasting until 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2, streets throughout the downtown area will be restricted due to the St. Jude Run, sponsored by the St. Jude Runners Association.
Drivers should exercise caution and patience throughout the day. The use of alternative routes is advised, and delays should be expected.
Road Closures – 10 a.m.
• S.W. Monroe Street will be closed between N. William Kumpf Boulevard and Main Street.
Road Closures – Noon
• Fulton Street will be closed between S.W. Monroe Street and S.W. Madison Avenue.
Road Closures – 2 p.m.
• W. Romeo B. Garrett Avenue will be closed between N. Hightower Street and N. William Kumpf Boulevard.
• W. John H. Gwynn Jr. Avenue will be closed between N. Hightower Street and N. William Kumpf Boulevard.
Lane Closures – 2-5 p.m.
• Intermittent rolling lane closures will occur on N. William Kumpf Boulevard.
Road Closures – 5 p.m.
• S.W. Monroe Street, Main Street, N.E. Jefferson Avenue, and Fulton Street will be closed until 6 p.m. for the St. Jude Runners Parade.
Bob Michel Bridge Lane Closures – 5 p.m.
• Intermittent rolling lane closures will occur on the Bob Michel Bridge.
