(PEORIA, IL) On Sunday, August 3, 2025, at approximately 12:04 p.m., Peoria Police responded to the 3300 block of W. Woodhill Drive on a report of a stabbing.
Upon arrival, officers located a 26-year-old male victim with an apparent stab wound to his hand. The victim was treated at the scene and declined further medical attention.
The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Talena L. Willis, fled the scene before police arrived but was located and taken into custody a short time later.
Willis was arrested for Domestic Battery and Aggravated Battery and was transported to the Peoria County Jail.
