Multiple road closures and parking restrictions will go into effect around the Bradley University campus this week, starting Thursday, August 21. These restrictions are necessary for Bradley University’s student move-in days.
Delays can be expected on N. University Street from W. Columbia Terrace to W. Main Street, and at the N. University Street and W. Main Street intersection.
Drivers should be mindful of these restrictions and use caution in the area. The use of alternative routes is advised.
Parking Restrictions - Thursday, August 21
- No parking will be allowed on W. Bradley Avenue from N. University Street to N. Institute Place, beginning at 2 p.m. and lasting through Saturday.
Parking Restrictions - Friday, August 22
- No parking will be allowed on N. University Street from W. Main Street to W. Bradley Avenue, beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting through Saturday.
- No parking will be allowed on the south side of W. Main Street from N. University Street to N. Elmwood Avenue, beginning at 8 a.m. and lasting through Saturday.
- No parking will be allowed on N. Elmwood Avenue from W. Main Street to W. Bradley Avenue, beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting through Saturday.
- No parking will be allowed at the Founder’s Circle, 1400 W. St. James Street, beginning at 5 p.m. and lasting until 8 a.m. on Monday, August 25.
Road Closures - Friday, August 22
The following closures will begin at 5 p.m. and will last through Saturday.
- Southbound N. Elmwood Avenue from W. Main Street to W. St. James Street.
- Northbound N. Elmwood Avenue from W. Bradley Avenue.
Road Closures – Saturday, August 23
The following closures will take place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Eastbound W. Bradley Avenue at N. Institute Place.
- Southbound W. St. James Street at N. University Street.
