The City of Peoria Department of Public Works is proud to announce the kickoff to this year’s Paint-A-Plow Program. This annual initiative invites local schools, organizations, and community groups to showcase their creativity while spreading community pride.
Through the program, participants get the opportunity to decorate snowplow blades that are used during the winter months. Groups can highlight seasonal winter themes, promote school spirit, or feature artwork in a unique way that is visible to residents throughout the City during the winter.
The program is open to Peoria Public Schools students, area organizations, and community groups. Once completed, the art-covered snowplow blades will be put into service for snow removal.
Those interested in participating in this year’s program should complete an application and waiver. Applications will be accepted until Friday, Sept. 12. Applications and waivers can be found at Paint a Plow.
