(PEORIA, IL) On Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at approximately 6:35 p.m., Peoria Police officers responded to the 1000 block of W. Thrush on a report of shots fired.
Upon arrival, officers spoke with a 59-year-old male who reported that a neighbor had fired shots at him. The victim was not injured.
During the investigation, officers identified the suspect as 34-year-old Jonathan L. Hudson, who was located inside a residence at the scene. Officers secured the area and gave commands for Hudson to exit the residence. Hudson complied and was taken into custody without incident.
Hudson was transported to the Peoria Police Department for further investigation and was subsequently arrested for:
• Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm
• Aggravated Assault with a Firearm
• Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon
• Possession of a Firearm without a Valid FOID Card
• Criminal Damage to Property
• Active Warrant
Hudson was later transported to the Peoria County Jail.
