(PEORIA, IL) On Friday, October 24, 2025, at approximately 7:45 p.m., Peoria Police officers conducted an investigation at a residence in the 5800 block of N. Western Avenue.
Upon arrival, officers observed four male juveniles in possession of multiple firearms.
Officers located all four juveniles inside a detached garage at the above location. Three handguns were found on the ground near the feet of three of the suspects.
All four juveniles, three 16-year-olds and one 14-year-old were transported to the Peoria Police Department for further investigation.
Following interviews, all four were arrested for Aggravated Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Possession of a Handgun Under 21.
The juveniles were subsequently transported to the Juvenile Detention Center.
