(PEORIA, IL) On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 4:00 p.m., Peoria Police officers responded to the 2600 block of W. Krause following a ShotSpotter alert indicating 14 rounds had been fired. At 4:01 p.m., a second ShotSpotter alert was received from the 2200 block of W. Malone, reporting four rounds fired.
Upon arrival at both locations, officers did not locate any victims.
Shortly thereafter, police were notified that a 19-year-old male had been dropped off at a local hospital by a private vehicle with a grazing gunshot wound to his buttocks. The victim’s injuries are non-life-threatening.
The victim reported that he was shot while walking near the intersection of Malone and Westmoreland by an unknown individual in a vehicle.
This incident remains under investigation, and there is currently no suspect information available.
