(PEORIA, IL) On Saturday, October 25, 2025, at approximately 12:00 a.m., Peoria Police officers located a reported stolen vehicle from Decatur, Illinois traveling southbound in the 1500 block of N. North Street.
A traffic stop was initiated after the vehicle pulled into the driveway of a residence at the above location. The driver, identified as 33-year-old Jonathan W. Straughter, and a passenger, 34-year-old Arieanna A. Morrow, were detained without incident.
Contact with the Decatur Police Department confirmed the vehicle was stolen and that Straughter was a suspect in the case.
Straughter was arrested for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle and Morrow was arrested for Criminal Trespass to a Vehicle.
They were transported to the Peoria County Jail.
