(PEORIA, IL) On Friday, November 21, 2025, at approximately 9:37 p.m., Peoria Police officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of N. Missouri Avenue regarding a report of an armed robbery that had occurred earlier.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with a 17-year-old male victim who reported he was approached by five male subjects, all armed with handguns. The suspects forcibly took the victim’s personal belongings and physically battered him before fleeing the area on foot.
The victim sustained minor injuries.
Officers conducted a search of the surrounding area; however, the suspects were not located at that time.
As a result of continued investigation, detectives identified and arrested two juvenile suspects on January 3, 2026. The suspects were identified as a 17-year-old male and a 15-year-old male. Both were taken into custody and transported to the Peoria Police Department for interview.
The 15-year-old male was arrested for Armed Robbery, Aggravated Battery (25-23106), and Resisting Arrest/Obstructing Police (26-187). He was also arrested on an active warrant for Possession of a Stolen Motor Vehicle (25-20978).
The 17-year-old male was arrested for Armed Robbery (25-23106) and Resisting Arrest/Obstructing Police (26-187).
Both juveniles were transported to the Peoria County Juvenile Detention Center.
