(PEORIA, IL) Monday, June 26, 2023, at approximately 3:17 a.m. Peoria Police were dispatched to the 900 block of W. McQueen on a report of an Armed Robbery.
When officers arrived, they located an adult male who told police he was approached by two juveniles wearing masks in the 2400 block of Sheridan. One of the juveniles displayed a handgun and demanded the victim empty his pockets. The other suspect patted the victim down and stole his wallet. The victim was not injured.
The suspects then ran southbound on Sheridan.
Officers immediately conducted a search of the area for the suspects with negative results.
This incident is currently under investigation.
