[ARCHIVED] Traffic patterns to shift on Glen Avenue between War Memorial Drive and University Street

Public Works Logo

Beginning Tuesday, July 11, the head-to-head traffic configuration for east and westbound traffic on Glen Avenue between W War Memorial Drive and N Graceland Drive will shift.

East and westbound head-to-head traffic will shift from the north side of Glen Avenue to the south side, or the recently reconstructed portion of Glen Avenue. This shift will last through the end of the year.

Drivers should be aware of the traffic pattern shift when turning eastbound onto Glen Avenue from W War Memorial Drive and Brandywine Drive, or when traveling onto Glen Avenue from Sterling Avenue. Lane reductions for westbound traffic will begin at North Glen Park Place.

Access to and from N Ronald Road will be closed from Glen Avenue. Residents should seek alternate routes.

Access to and from N Mansfield Drive will be closed from Glen Avenue. Residents should use N Woodview Avenue.

Drivers should follow posted construction zone speed limits and exercise an overabundance of caution in the area. Alternative routes should be considered, if possible.
